Daughters’ Day Out at PRCI event

It was an event with a difference organized by the Hyderabad Chapter of the Public Relations Council of India, here in Hyderabad at the FAPCCI Auditorium.

On a day (July 1st) now being celebrated as ‘Daughters Day’ by PRCI Chapters across India, which also happens to be the birthday of Ms Kalpana Chawla, Indian Astronaut and Space Shuttle Mission Specialist, PRCI chose to felicitate women who were recognized as “Young Achievers.”


Added to this, women panelists from different walks of life including Ms Nafeesa Ismail, Legal Officer HDFC; Ms Reema Sarin, Director, CorpCom, Applabs; Ms Prema Malini, TV9 and students from Xavier Vignan Jyothi Management Institute deliberated on the theme “Daughters – Navigating a new landscape for development and growth of the country”.


Later, Mr. V. Seshadri, Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District, presented the ‘Young Achievers’ awards to Ms Annapurani, CEO, Virtual Reality Communication; Ms Swapna, Programming Head, Big 92.7 FM; Flutists- Ms Jayapradha & Ms Geetha Ganesha; Community Worker – Ms Sushila; Dancer – Ms Vaishnavi; Sports & Modelling – Saloni Gulati; Ms Aishwarya for Journalism and Ms Sheetal of Naveena, TV9.

Chairman, PRCI Hyderabad, Mr Ajai Kumar Agarwal presided over the function that turned out to be an eventful one thanks to the efforts of Vice Chairman, F R Michael; General Secretary, K M Srinivasulu; Joint Secy, Major R Gulati; Treasurer, Dr G L Jain and Convenor, Rajeshwari Iyer.

Visited your blog. its is very good.....hope your efforts continue......
thanx amillion for airing the message across. media reports are very extensive and very positive though we did not spend much time on that.This shows if your mission is good you cn pitch in any time. PRCI, Hyd wishes to go far from thinking and doing same old things as convention and find new avenues for promoting the professional values. thanx for being with us.Will keep you posted . do attend programmes and be a part of prci.
